Martin Louis XIII Cognac Black Pearl, Baccarat Crystal decanter,
700ml
Louis XIII Cognac Black Pearl has
been reputed as the super-premium brandy with the name of "king
of Cognac". And where has such reputation come from? We have
to first know the differences among cognac areas. Only those produced
in the cognac areas in France are qualified as cognac. There are
also classes of the Grande and Petite Champagnes growing grapes.
As the area and yield of Grand Champagnes is small, most of the
cognacs are a combination of brewing handful grapes from the Grand
Champagnes together with those from the Petite Champagnes, but the
quality grapes chosen for Louis XIII Cognac Black Pearl are 100%
from the Grand Champagnes, with a very precise and traditional method
to make - distillation of wine and lees together, using a small
gooseneck pot to distill the wine together with grape skin and stems,
to absorb the fantastic scents of the leftovers of the fermented
grapes - granting the cognac a spectacularly sweetness and richness.
Louis XIII Cognac Black Pearl Magnum is obtained from the one of
the oldest buckets made from the very precious Tiercon in the private
house of Remy Martin. The bucket has been kept in the house of Grollet
since 1948. Brewed in such Tiercon bucket, Louis XIII Cognac Black
Pearl Magnum has a unique golden brightness and an even richer and
purer quality. What's more, the cognac is a delicate result of the
mixing 1200 brut from the Grand Champagnes by brandy making Masters
in 4 generations and the finest tunes of over a century.
Moreover, the decanter itself is already a talking point, which
is undoubted a work of art for it elegance. Hand-made by the craftsmen
in the world-famous Baccarat Crystal Maker, making use of the fancy
black crystal and 100% platinum, the decanter reflects with the
touches of the light, shining in stunning silver-black. Its gorgeous
sparkles are exactly the uniqueness of Black Pearl. It's believed
that only 700 units have been produced, and Remy Martin has once
announced ALL were sold out. It's priceless nowadays.
